Set text trump work

The denotation of the use of the statue is showing that America is no longer a free country. This can be represented the use of the statue covering her face, as if the country is worried for its safety . The use of the black smoke can show how there is potential war due to the fact that president trump is now in power. As Trump is right wing and the newspaper is obviously left wing, we can see that the newspaper is not happy about the fact that Trump has been elected. The use of 'What have they done?' can show how the newspaper believes that Trump will ruin America instead of 'make it great'. Hence showing how disastrous the newspaper believes Trump is as president of the United states.

The use of showing Donald Trump with his fist in he air can show that the newspaper 'the Times' is a neutral newspaper however in this article it appears that they are more right winged, this is because it looks as if they are happy that Trump was elected. As well as showing that he is powerful and dominant in comparison to the Vice president standing next to him who doesn't look very superior.  The use of the caption 'The New World' can show how they believe Trump being in power will benefit America hugely, and will keep to his tag line, 'Make America great Again.' the use of the american flag behind them can show how patriotic he is, therefore showing how much he cares for the country.
