differences and similarities between different types of newspaers.

Broadsheet newspapers follow a more serious ad formal tone in comparison to tabloid newspapers.  Broadsheets are used to show facts of current fairs. Examples of newspapers which are broadsheet are 'The Daily Telegraph', 'The Times', 'The independent', etc. Broadsheet newspapers tend to be a lot bigger in size in comparison to tabloid newspapers. They are double the size which ensures more content.

Whereas Tabloid newspapers are more informal and follow gossip surrounding celebrities and other well known people . Examples of this is 'The Sun', 'The Daily Mirror', 'The Daily Star', etc. Tbloid newspapers are smaller in size du to not a lot of content needed especially in daily newspapers.
